A large field with a shower cubicle, composting toilets and rubbish recycling. Very quiet. No car or plane noise or light pollution. Friendly hosts.

Great basic campsite. Perfect for big groups as plenty of space. Owners were friendly and accommodating. The only reason I'm dropping a star is because the toilets and water supplies were quite far apart. Not sure why there wasn't a sink next to the toilet to do this but It meant walking across the field each time. Fine during the day but at night time it was a bit of a faff in the dark. Also a cheap solar powered light in the toilets would be helpful at night.

Great campsite in large open field, with great compost loos! Really quiet and lots of wildlife. We saw a deer on the track in - not bothered by us at all! Such a lovely spot of well-managed land!

Beautiful location with many scenic walking routes. The owners were very friendly and even provided a fridge for us to store our meat in. We set up camp in a beautiful corner of the meadow. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but within easy driving distance. Walking distance to a pub and a few farm shops around. Big open fields where you can pitch up where you please. So much room that you feel like you're alone. Clean facilities and you can purchase firewood and rent a cast iron pit from the owner! Great for a weekend getaway :)

Just had 5 happy days at Little Rodmore. Easy to find and well signposted which was helpful. Chose a spot in the bottom field which was huge! And started to pitch the tent. Farmer Nik appeared to make sure we were ok with everything and spent a while chatting. We asked for a fire pit and some wood which he brought down straight away. Also met Nikky his lovely wife. The compost loos were brilliant and there’s facilities to do your washing up. There’s even a decent shower in the top field and a fridge for your milk and meat etc, there’s also a charging point for your phone. We visited various places during the day and had a campfire every night. We cooked on a gas stove just next to our tent. There’s plenty of walks nearby too and dogs are welcome. No complaints at all and we will definitely be back!

Two very large fields (which are on slight slope), no marked pitches, friendly and attentive owners on hand who are keen to ensure nobody is having any problems. Scrupulously clean facilities. Big on recycling and even two compost toilets (clean and zero smells!). The facilities are VERY basic, but that is 100% reflected in the price, and the precise extent of the facilities are made very clear on websites (one Porta-Shower serves entire site). Fridge, freezer, phone charging and fire pits available. The 'free pitches', encourage large groups, which can be noisy long into the night, so that might be an issue for campers with small children. My teen daughters are insistent we return in the future!

Large open fields with plenty of space yet lacking in facilities, especially when the few available are out of order or in unusable conditions. The first couple days on our short trip were enjoyable despite the weather and the local pubs and restaurants made things even better. Unfortunately after returning from a lovely meal, we noticed our fire pit was removed whilst we were gone. We assumed it was just taken by mistake so called the owner to ask if it could be returned, however we were falsely accused of stealing logs without reason and then told we were "on thin ice". In reality we had purchased logs elsewhere as the campsite charged well over double compared to others only down the road. After offering to come collect the equipment ourselves, to not cause any trouble for the owner, we were denied and threatened to be kicked off the site.

Beware...the owner will steal your wood if you don't buy theirs! Stayed for 3 nights with some mates and overall, it was a good experience. A quiet and open field with a fire pit given (chose this specifically as we wanted an open fire). However, after informing them that we weren't interested in buying their wood and instead buying some elsewhere, the campsite owner proceeded to steal our wood and fire pit whilst we were out and falsely claimed we had stolen it from their grounds. After politely informing them that this was not the case, and that we had instead gotten it from the side of the road and from other people selling it elsewhere, they refused to return it to us and was adamant that we had stolen it from their hedges. They then proceeded to threaten to kick us out if we continued asking. Unfortunately, I think this was on purpose and they had no reason to believe that we had taken it from their grounds. I think they were trying to scam us into buying their wood and turning a profit based on the ludicrous prices they were charging. Overall, was happy with the campsite and the price, but unfortunately will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others if they are going to remove one of the key features we paid for (an open fire with fire pit) and then steal the items we rightfully paid for.

Such a lovely and relaxing weekend at this beautiful campsite! It was lovely having access to the fire pit and great toilet facilities. Also the perk of a great shower. Really appreciate the owners passion for recycling too. Very easy to sort out rubbish (no overflowing bins, like other sites) Would highly recommend to family, friends and anyone.
